Job Description

Objective:
This position is responsible for supervising daily transport operations within the distribution center, ensuring efficient, safe, and cost-effective delivery of goods to meet service-level targets.
Key Responsibility:
Supervise inbound/outbound transportation activities, coordinate routing, scheduling, and delivery execution.
Manage drivers, monitor vehicle assignments, ensure compliance with traffic and safety regulations.
Collaborate with warehouse, DC, and logistics teams to synchronize transport with inventory demands.
Track KPIs such as on-time delivery, transit times, and fuel usage; escalate and resolve operational issues.
Implement route optimization measures and monitor cost-saving initiatives.
Conduct regular vehicle inspections and assist in fleet maintenance planning.
Support vendor and carrier coordination for pickups, drop-offs, and service-level agreements.
