Position Summary
Supervises Shipping and Receiving employees and functions of the warehouse to deliver products and services in a safe and efficient manner. Maintains communications with Customers, vendors, and internal staff regarding product transportation issues. Ensures that material handling equipment is safe and in good working order through a preventative maintenance program.
Duties
Leads warehouse staff by; assigning responsibilities, delegating authority, and selecting, orienting, and training direct reports; coaching, counseling, motivating, and disciplining as needed; plans, monitors, and appraises job results; directs and maintains activities designed to achieve and maintain high employee morale; fosters intra- and inter-department cooperation.
