Responsibilities This position is located within the Department of the Interior, U.S. Wildland Fire Service, Aviation Operations and Management Division, in Anchorage, Alaska. At the full performance level GS-14 the major duties of this position include, but are not limited to the following: Serves as the Accountable Manager for the FAA-certificated repair station and senior technical authority responsible for ensuring compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), approved repair station manuals, Departmental aviation policy, and USWFS aviation maintenance standards.
