Supervisory Aviation Technical Systems Specialist (Assistant Manager)

Summary Serve as Assistant Branch Manager in the Planning & Engineering branch for the Office of Airports (ARP) in the Central Region. Responsibilities This position reports to the Central Region Branch Manager, Planning & Engineering and serves as the front-line supervisor for the planning and engineering technical staff, as well as the principal adviser to the Planning & Engineering Branch Manager. The Assistant Manager is responsible for a branch that includes four small and three medium hub airports. This responsibility includes 306 Federally funded airports throughout Iowa, Kansas, Nebraska and Missouri including more than 35 Part 139 certified airports. Supervises the work of a highly technical, diverse workforce engaged in administering all aspects of the Office of Airports programs.
