Supervisory Budget Analyst

Summary NIH seeks an experienced leader to serve as Branch Chief in the Office of Budget. The incumbent leads NIH-wide budget formulation, modeling, and resource planning activities supporting approximately 27 appropriations and funding decisions. The position supervises a team of budget professionals, advises senior leadership on budget policy and Congressional matters, and provides strategic guidance to ensure effective stewardship of federal resources in support of NIH's biomedical research mission. Responsibilities Serves as a principal advisor to NIH leadership on agency-wide budget strategy, resource allocation, and funding issues affecting NIH Institutes and Centers.
