Summary Assigned to the Radiology and Nuclear Medicine Service at the Fredericksburg HCC. Performs administrative duties of supervision for GS-9 Mammography and MIT technologists and below staff technologists. Mammography experience is preferred. Responsibilities Duties an responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: The main functions of the work are to supervise the technologists to perform routine and specialized radiologic procedures, to maintain and improve the quality of current radiologic procedures, to develop new methods in response to the medical center needs, and to administer the technical areas to provide efficient service and timely accurate results. Responsible for the efficiency and quality of mammography and ultrasonography technical services, for the maintenance of the records required, and for the preparation of reports on technical operations.
