Summary This position is located in Region 6, National Preparedness Division. The ideal candidate for this position will have experience directing regional preparedness programs, leading multidisciplinary teams, building stakeholder partnerships, and advancing whole-community readiness across all hazards. Responsibilities What will I do in this position if hired? In this position, you will provide supervisory oversight for a regional staff that performs work involving managing and coordinating emergency management preparedness programs. Typical assignments include: Overseeing short and long-range planning and preparedness resources through on-going inter-Agency communications. Preparing and providing expert technical advice and guidance to the agency concerning the region's execution of activities as outlined in the National Preparedness System and the National Prevention Framework.
