Supervisory Interdisciplinary (Hydropower)

Summary About the Position: Serve as the Chief, Hydropower Branch, Operations Division with responsibility for planning, programming, coordinating, supervising, and reviewing the activities of the Branch to accomplish the function of the Branch in the most economical and feasible manner. Responsibilities Develop, implement, and track Hydropower Operation and Maintenance budgets for the District. Develop policies, guidelines, strategies, objectives, and plans that align with Corps’ strategic goals, using risk-informed asset management and reliability engineering principles. Lead the development and prioritization of long-term investment strategies for operating, maintaining, repairing, replacing, or disposing of assets. Represent the Mobile District on all Hydropower matters, participate in the development of hydropower policy and regulations, and provide input for long-range plans.
