Summary About the Position: This position is located in San Antonio, Texas, with the Defense Health Agency. Responsibilities Serves as the Chief for the Network Modernization Branch. Develops, executes, and sustains enterprise level acquisition and procurement strategies to procure Information Technology (IT) communications and computer infrastructure assets and support services. Designs, implements, and manages an agency level program that leverages economies of scale, lifecycle management principles. Manages the daily operation and sustainment of the Branch which include the Local Area Network (LAN), Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) and Network Protection Suite (NPS) IT hardware services. Provides expert level recommendations and contributes to enterprise-wide discussions for IT standards for the procurement, sustainment, and refresh of assets.
