SUPERVISORY IT SPECIALIST (POLICY AND PLANNING)

Summary About the Position: This position is located in San Antonio, Texas, with the Defense Health Agency. Responsibilities Oversees a multi-million dollar financial portfolio encompassing Fiscal Year (FY) Spend Plans (SPs), Program Objective Memorandums (POMs), and budget Narratives that span the Future Years Defense Program (FYDP). Communicates and reports all financial activities to the Division Chief and assists with establishing strategy for the branch's out-year budgetary forecast. Develops and sustains lifecycle management plans for all IT commodities and services as it relates to the Branch’s budgetary footprint and Area of Responsibility. Coordinates workload distribution and balancing in accordance with organizational objectives and priorities. Trains or arranges for training of employees in technical, administrative, and other areas as required.
