Supervisory Occupational Therapist

Summary This position is under the auspices of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Service in the Occupational Therapy Department at Central Alabama Veterans Health Care System(CAVHCS). The duties and responsibilities are carried out throughout the medical center including all clinical and patient care areas involved with Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation. Responsibilities The incumbent has full responsibility of supervision of Occupational Therapists, Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA); Level I & II fieldwork students, Volunteers; administrative management of diverse Occupational Therapy programs; providing leadership and direction for the OT section in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Service (PM&RS). This includes a broad range of OT services at several separate campuses, one over a 100-mile radius. Facilities include multiple sites i.e., East/West campuses, Community Living Center, CBOC FT.
