Supervisory Recreation Specialist

Summary This position is located within the N921 Division of the Morale Welfare and Recreation Department, Sasebo, Japan. The incumbent works with the Fitness, Sports, Aquatic & Deployed Forces Support Managers in organizing and administering fitness & recreational programs. Responsibilities Assists in planning and implementing a comprehensive, fitness program, for active and retired military, authorized civilians, contractors, and dependents at one or more facilities. Program includes personal training, group exercise, fitness incentives, and Navy physical readiness program. Provides guidance to all Fitness Center staff in the absence of the Fitness Director. Makes and/or coordinates repairs of fitness facility equipment. Ensures all applicable rules and regulations pertaining to fitness areas are posted and observed.
