Summary The incumbent serves as the Chief of Occupational Safety and Health, and is responsible for planning, organizing, administering, and evaluating a comprehensive environmental and safety management program at the Phoenix VA Medical Center (PVAMC) in Phoenix, Arizona. Responsibilities Duties include, but are not limited to: Develops, implements and executes overall goals and objectives for the facility's Safety Program to include Emergency Management, Joint Commission standards, Occupational Safety and Health, Industrial Hygiene and Green Environmental Management. Developing policies to control or eliminate identified hazardous conditions and comply with specific federal, state, and local laws and regulations while minimizing adverse impact to patient care for Phoenix VA Healthcare System.
