Summary The Procedures Assistant Director (AD) is the lead supervisor, advisor, & subject matter expert on procedural guidance dictated by program policies to include Part 3 & Part 4 of Title 38 of the Code of Federal Regulations. The AD is responsible for administrative policies related to rating-related claims and evaluative criteria for service-related conditions as part of the disability compensation benefits program. Responsibilities Specific duties include: The incumbent reports directly to the Deputy Executive Director for VA Schedule for Rating Disabilities (VASRD), Policy and Procedures and other senior leadership in Compensation Service. Supervision is primarily coordinating in nature and ensuring uniform application of performance. The incumbent supervises personnel ranging in grade from GS-9 to GS-14.
