Responsibilities The Supervisory Veterans Claims Examiner (VCE) is responsible to the Education Call Center Manager for technical and administrative tasks of the Education Call Center. The Supervisory VCE has knowledge of all aspects of education benefits administered by the Department of Veterans Affairs, the education process, including the utmost attention to customer service skills. The Supervisory VCE assists team members with difficult problems on procedural and technical matters, especially where no precedent has been established; maintains knowledge of veteran interview procedures, the education award procedures, debt collection procedures; maintains technical competence of all the computer applications needed in the day-to-day operations.
