Supplier Quality Engineer

The Supplier Quality Engineer leads and supports daily supplier management activities at the Sensata make site. Working with cross functional teams to resolve any supplier related concerns they will also take the lead for New Product Development and change management across the site ensuring support for critical projects.
# General Responsibilities

+ Support containment activities


+ Communicate with relevant internal/external contacts and ensure timely closure and effectiveness


+ Notify suppliers quality issues, drive supplier report, verify and assure suppliers’ effective containment action, root cause analysis, and corrective actions/preventive actions


+ Provide support during reviews and supplier selection process

+ Communicates with the supplier on their quality performance
