Supplier Quality Engineer

Purpose: The Supplier Quality Engineer is To lead in the management of supplier's quality performance and technical specification compliance to better meet company's business goal and requirements (Quality, Logistics, Technology, Cost, Service).
Key Responsibilities:
Review and approve First Article (FA) Report for product qualification
Review the Material Review Board (MRB) list to make a disposition on non-conforming parts and take follow-up action (for supplier-related issues)
Review, approve and validate actions in the Supplier Non-Conformance Report (NCR)/Corrective Action and Preventive Action (CAPA) Report to ensure root cause is identified to actions done to eliminate issue and prevent re-occurrence
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, engineering, and manufacturing, to resolve quality-related issues
Conduct part buy-off at the supplier site per customer/VDL requirements to ensure compliance before the part is delivered to VDL site
