Lead the APQP process to ensure flawless launches with suppliers.

• PPAP process.
• Run and rate validation.
• Supplier capacity validation against customer demand.
• Packaging approvals.
• Component Safe launch process (LW-10) – Incoming inspection gauges requirements.
• Request tooling tag based on customer specific requirements.

B.

Provides the quality interface between the organization and their suppliers.

• Manage supplier complaints through the DMR process including charge back process (QA alert, containment (ERP segregation and release), root cause and CAPA using 8D, material disposition through RMA).
• Work with planning team to avoid production line downtime and customer disruption due to a supplier issue.
• Monitor supplier performance and focus on five processes for most disruptive suppliers.
