Supplier Quality Engineer

Overview

Quality Engineer — Location: Reading / Hybrid. Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 + Bonus. Hours: 07:30 - 16:30, Monday to Friday. Start Date: ASAP.

Syntech Recruitment is working in partnership with a long-established, quality-focused design and manufacturing company serving the construction sector. They are undergoing a significant period of growth and modernisation, marked by the introduction of several new suppliers to their UK and international supply chain.

Responsibilities

• Quality Assurance & Supplier Oversight: Conducting site visits and inspections to assess and sign off new suppliers
• Quality Assurance & Supplier Oversight: Supporting the Quality Manager in the day-to-day management of supplier and product quality
• Quality Assurance & Supplier Oversight: Logging, managing, and resolving Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), ensuring effective corrective actions
