Overview & Responsibilities

Position Summary:

The Supplier Quality Specialist executes the Ebara Elliott Energy supplier quality control program. The position works closely with procurement and quality departments to ensure that all suppliers have adequate business management systems for the purpose of providing products that meet Ebara Elliott Energy requirements. This is accomplished through the qualification and re-qualification of suppliers based on the results of system audits and the evaluation of their performance as it relates to the on-time delivery, number of defects, and cost. The position also focuses on the prevention of supplier defects through the conveyance of contractual requirements.
