Internship Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to assist in streamlining scheduling processes across teams. The intern will collaborate with individual schedulers to develop a standardized scheduling format, consolidate schedules into a centralized Microsoft Teams site, and create comprehensive work instructions for future use. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, tech-savvy, and eager to contribute to improving operational efficiency.
Internship Job Duties:
Extract transportation expenses from ERP system (SAP) / Finance reports and maintain Microsoft Excel database.
Collaborate to learn understanding of freight auditing practices and use of TRAX database.
Analyze and report on trends, outliers, and related opportunities for cost savings.
Generate reports and maintain metrics related to carrier performance.
