Supply Chain Purchasing Manager – New Product Introduction

Detailed Description

Focused on the Johor site’s New Product Introduction (NPI) programs for the purchasing team’s activities. Mainly focused on material escalations and expedites to get material to the site for aggressive schedules, but also involved in quotation follow up and alternate sources for needed materials. Interfaces with site planning, program management, commodity management, and engineering teams as needed for successful NPI launches.

Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:

• Particularly focused on providing updates to customer teams and planning on the latest actions purchasing is/has undertaken for success in NPI to production volumes.
• Maintains responsibility for the management of site purchasing including meeting customer commits, negotiations and agreement with suppliers, meeting quality and delivery requirements.
