Description
Handle supply planning, purchasing and import activities of a defined products portfolio
Review demand forecast and propose the corresponding orders template for each product (volume and schedule) based on the supply policy
Place orders to overseas suppliers and interact with them on a day-to-day basis: track the status of any orders, confirm schedule and make adjustment if necessary. Ensure weekly update of the PSI to track and trace the current orders as well as plan orders for the next 18 months
Deal with sea/air forwarders and customs broker to prepare and clear import applications for all orders
Interact with 3PL partners to confirm inbounds schedule
Ensure that any invoices and all related documents are shared internally for processing
Inventory Management - Anticipating stock demands based on current and future business functions to avoid Excess & Obsolete and back order
