About Peardonville House Treatment Centre:
Peardonville House Treatment Centre was founded in 1987 as an adult women’s
treatment facility to serve the ever-increasing demand for services for women in
addiction. In 1990, at the request of the provincial government, the “Moms and Kids”
program was launched to allow women struggling with addiction to bring their under-school-age children to treatment with them and have them share in the residential
recovery experience.
