**_JOB OVERVIEW:_**

Provide timely and professional reservations services in accordance with established scripting and standards.

**_DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:_**

+ Assist in supervising the reservations function; ensure staff is properly trained including reservations systems, service expectations, hotel facilities and services, local directions, etc.
+ Monitor performance and recommend corrective or disciplinary action.Alert management of potentially serious issues.
+ Book guest reservations for individuals and/or groups that are requested either by phone or from within the hotel in accordance with established standards and scripts using the hotel’s reservations system; process reservations from the sales, reservations centers or travel agencies/wholesalers.Designate and apply appropriate travel agency commissions.
