JOB SUMMARY  The Surgery Technologist is responsible for rendering technical skilled care to patients during operative procedures under the direction of the Registered Nurse; preparing for surgical procedures; cleaning and turning over instruments, equipment and rooms for surgery; assists in evaluating the patient plan of care within the operating room environment, contributes to overall unit efficiency, safety, workflow and utilization; performing other related duties as assigned. 
   MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS   Education:  Graduation from an accredited school of Surgical Technology OR see experience.  Experience:  If graduate of surgical technology program, no experience required OR if not a graduate of a surgical technology program, requires 5 years of experience.
