Summary:


Under the supervision of the Manager - Orthopaedics, the Surgical Coordinator is responsible for coordinating with the hospital the surgical schedule of the practice physicians for OR cases, Pre-Admission Testing appointments, and the appropriate admission criteria. The Surgical Coordinator will also be responsible for, through the pre-registration and registration process, obtaining accurate patient demographic and insurance information and communicating with hospital departments.
