Surrey Health & Safety Coordinator Role

Drive health and safety initiatives with Amrize in Surrey, BC, as a Health & Safety Coordinator. Focus on compliance and risk management across construction operations.
In this role, you will partner with the Health & Safety Manager and local teams to implement health and safety management systems effectively. You will provide technical guidance to enhance compliance with industry regulations and Amrize standards. Your engagement at all levels will promote a proactive safety culture.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide direct coaching to operational site leadership
• Assist in the training and development of safety protocols
• Carry out risk assessments and establish safe work procedures
• Facilitate the investigation of serious incidents and near misses
• Coordinate HSE audits and identify compliance gaps
Requirements:
• Degree or certification in Occupational Health & Safety
• 3-5 years as a health & safety professional
