Survey Aide

Job Description:

• Assists in the collection of survey data and the maintenance of the survey instrumentation.
• Responsible for assigned surveying techniques, including holding the prism pole of measurements.
• Assists the Land Surveyor with the assigned project survey activities and provides physical support to clear the survey route.
• Place stakes or monument at designated points and drives them into ground at specified elevation.
• Marks measuring points with markers, paint sticks, tacks, scratches or stakes.
• Assist in determining elevations and laying out stakes for housing, non-housing construction and other surveys activities.
• Assist other activities that may be assigned from time to time.

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or at least with high school diploma.
• Must be adaptable and willing to learn in land survey works.
