Survey and Design Engineer

The Survey and Design Engineer is responsible for conducting site surveys, preparing detailed network designs, and ensuring that all telecommunications infrastructure projects—such as fiber optic, copper, or wireless networks—are accurately planned and executed according to client and industry standards. This role works closely with project managers, engineers, and field teams to deliver cost-effective and technically sound designs.

Essential Functions:

1. Conduct field surveys to collect accurate data on site conditions, existing infrastructure, and potential network routes.
2. Prepare detailed network layout designs (FTTx, OSP, ISP, or backbone networks) using CAD or GIS-based tools.
3. Create and update design drawings, fiber plans, as-built documents, and route maps.
4. Evaluate survey results to determine the most efficient and cost-effective network routes.
