Surveying Draftman

Job Summary:

The Surveying Draftsman is responsible for preparing accurate technical drawings, plans, and maps based on survey data. This role supports surveyors and engineering teams by converting field measurements into detailed CAD drawings for construction, land development, and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and interpret survey field data (total station, GNSS, digital levelling, laser scanning, etc.).
• Produce accurate survey plans, including detail surveys, contour surveys, boundary plans, set-outs, as-constructed drawings, and utility surveys.
• Draft and manage models using CAD software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, BricsCAD, or similar).
• Utilize 12d / 12DAZ for data reduction, modelling, surfaces, alignments, and automated drafting.
• Ensure deliverables meet industry standards, client specifications, and internal quality procedures.
