Surveyor Technician

**Job Overview:**

Under the supervision of the Construction Manager, the Survey Technician II will perform a variety of surveying tasks in support of environmental remediation and radiological investigation activities at the Hunters Point Naval Shipyard (HPNS) in San Francisco, California.

The Survey Technician will collect and document survey data to establish excavation boundaries, trench unit limits, and site control points for remediation activities associated with radiologically impacted soils. Survey work will support engineering, mapping, construction, and environmental restoration activities.

The technician will work closely with project engineers, construction personnel, and the Professional Land Surveyor to ensure accurate documentation of excavation areas, soil stockpiles, radiological screening yards (RSY), and restoration activities.
