System Administrator

This person's primary responsibility is the proactive management and maintenance of our office's IT infrastructure—ensuring that all systems, servers, and hardware always remain fully operational.
Rather than just responding to IT issues, this role requires preventative action—regularly monitoring system health, conducting maintenance, and identifying potential failures before they impact operations.
This person needs someone who is physically present to handle hands-on IT infrastructure tasks.
The goal is system stability—this person must minimize downtime, ensure optimal performance of all IT assets, and maintain business continuity in our security monitoring command centre.
While they have remote network engineers managing firewalls, switches, and overall network configurations, this System Administrator will primarily focus on managing the IT environment locally ensuring PCs, workstations, servers, and IT hardware are always fully functional.
