Job Description

On behalf of our long-standing client based in Lancashire, we are recruiting for a full-time, on-site Systems Administrator. In this role, you will manage and support the organisation’s IT systems, infrastructure, ensuring security, reliability, and optimal performance.  
The Systems Administrator will be responsible for:  
Managing and maintaining server infrastructure (virtual and physical). 
Administering and supporting VMware platforms. 
Overseeing Microsoft 365 and Azure environments, including domain setups and security. 
Configuring and managing firewalls, and supporting networks (VLANs, switches). 
Producing accurate documentation and reports. 
Assisting with IT projects, supplier liaison, and technology upgrades. 
The Systems Administrator will have the following:  
Proven experience in server infrastructure administration. 
Strong VMware skills.
