TA Naval Architecture

JOB PURPOSE:

• Lead, strategize, control and provide technical advice on all aspects relating to Naval Architecture elements of Fixed & Offshore Floating Facilities and Marine Vessels.
• Ensure that design of Hull, facilities and other systems on board are fit for purpose in order to protect MISC personnel, the environment and MISC assets.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Design Hull structure and appurtenances for Offshore facilities (new Buildings and Conversions) and marine assets.
• Optimize Hull structure modifications in terms of strength and fatigue by way of utilizing site-specific loads for offshore facilities.
• Ensure the constructability and operational suitability of all designs produced.
• Generate, maintain and improve MISC corporate standards with respect to Naval Architecture.
• Provide suitable and hoc design solutions for operating assets with minimal interference to operations.
