TA Naval Architecture

JOB PURPOSE:
Lead, strategize, control and provide technical advice on all aspects relating to Naval Architecture elements of Fixed & Offshore Floating Facilities and Marine Vessels.
Ensure that design of Hull, facilities and other systems on board are fit for purpose in order to protect MISC personnel, the environment and MISC assets.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Design Hull structure and appurtenances for Offshore facilities (new Buildings and Conversions) and marine assets.
Optimize Hull structure modifications in terms of strength and fatigue by way of utilizing site-specific loads for offshore facilities.
Ensure the constructability and operational suitability of all designs produced.
Generate, maintain and improve MISC corporate standards with respect to Naval Architecture.
Provide suitable and hoc design solutions for operating assets with minimal interference to operations.
Identify and manage all key hull interfaces on offshore facilities.
