Job Description

   Lead Tasmania’s Racing Reform - Protecting a $208 Million Industry  
   Unique Regulatory Leadership Role – 5 Year Contract  
   Set a New Standard for Integrity and Animal Welfare  
 The Tasmanian Racing Integrity Commissioner (TasRIC) will be an independent statutory office that is expected to be established under the Racing Regulation and Integrity Act 2024 upon the passing of legislation.
 The TasRIC will oversee the racing industry and the operations of TasRacing to ensure that Tasmanian racing is conducted with regulatory excellence and will set standards relating to integrity and animal welfare in racing.
 The position operates in a dynamic environment and has a critical role in providing oversight of integrity within the $208 million Tasmanian Racing Industry across all three codes of racing - thoroughbreds, harness and greyhounds.
