Tax Accountant

Responsibilities:

• Prepares tax returns and reports.
• Supports the preparation of Tax Provision in accordance with ASC 740.
• Prepares claims for tax refunds and maintains tax records.
• Responds to queries from tax authorities.
• Supports the audit process with various tax authorities.
• Conducts or participates in tax research.
• Prepares statistical and financial reports.
• Implements approved tax strategies.
• Maintains satisfactory attendance, to include timeliness.
• Responsible for understanding and complying with applicable quality, environmental and safety regulatory considerations. If accountable for the work of others, responsible for ensuring their understanding and compliance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree plus 4 years of Tax and/or Accounting experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
