Tax Accountant

Our client, a top banking client in Canada is looking to hire a Tax Accountant for their team with a contract until July 2025 with potential extension or conversion to Permanent. This role is fully on-site for their Toronto office.


Typical Day in Role

Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.

Reviews tax returns prepared by Tax Administrators, and seasonal staff to ensure completeness and accuracy and to minimize risk.

Prepares complex returns by proactively gathering or preparing all relevant supporting documentation, such as income statements, transactions, tax slips, capital gains & losses statements and fees charged.

Secondary contact for all clients and partners. May be primary contact for a limited number of assigned clients.
