Tax Analyst

Role Purpose
(Why do we need this role) To engage in all aspects of international tax management (including and not limited to tax compliance and advisory), corporate restructuring and provide analytical & technical support to Swire Shipping Tax Team.
Role Accountabilities
(What is this role responsible for delivering)
Tax Advisory – assist tax team on tax research and advisory work involving corporate restructuring and new projects/ setup/ contracts review referencing different tax resources platforms and drafting recommendation/implications on international tax matters (involving different tax types) considering internal stakeholders and tax agents inputs (where applicable). Attend to any adhoc tax queries raised by the group entities.
Keep abreast of different countries tax news update and assess implications for the group.
