Tax Assistant

The Tax Assistant reports directly to Tax Supervisor. The Tax Assistant provides support to the team pertaining to general services, office management, and managing office equipment and supplies.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Assists in Handling BIR cases, permits, taxes, and BIR Assessment (LOA).
• Ensures compliance with local tax regulations thru accurate preparation and timely submission of returns (monthly, quarterly, annual) and payment of taxes due.
• Accurate and timely tax recording and reporting.
• Performs other related duties that may be assigned from time to time
• Experience / Knowledge in Bookkeeping
• Other tasks may be assigned from time to time

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance-related or its equivalent
• Must have at least 1 year working experience as Tax Associate / Assistant
