Tax Assistant

• Stay abreast of new and existing tax legislation, rulings, and court decisions impacting the retail and e-commerce industry.
• Ensure accurate and timely filing of all tax returns (Income Tax, VAT/Percentage Tax, Withholding Taxes, etc.) in strict compliance with Philippine tax laws (Tax Code, RRs, RMCs)
• Prepare and organize all required documentation, financial records, and supporting evidence for tax audits and financial Audit.
• Represent the company during meetings, hearings, and negotiations with tax authorities.
• Serve as the primary lead and point of contact for all BIR (Bureau of Internal Revenue) audits, investigations, and inquiries.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in tax audit handling and defense.
• Background working within the retail, FMCG, or e-commerce industry.
