Tax Associate

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develops understanding of domestic tax concepts, tax enactments and regulations, jurisprudence, and undertakes relevant training/seminars/study to improve such knowledge
• Reviews financial statements and tax filings to ensure that the client comply with tax regulations
• Prepares and reviews correct tax analyses and tax computations
• Assists clients in handling Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) tax audits
• Formulates, implements and evaluates tax reduction schemes legally available
• Performs tax due diligence audit
• Performs tax advisory and tax-related researches

QUALIFICATIONS

• Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy or equivalent qualification in Taxation
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA)/Certified Tax Technician (CTT) but also open to non-board passers and non-board takers
• Knowledgeable in basic tax concepts
