Job Description
TaxTim is looking for a registered Tax Practitioner to join our team. We are looking for a unique individual: someone with the technical knowledge to file returns and resolve tax and e-filing challenges, but who is also genuinely happy to help people navigate the frustrations of tax compliance.
This is a client-facing support role. You will be the human expert behind our digital system and your day will be a mix of high-level tax work (disputes, manual return filings, tax guidance) and general user assistance (helping users who are stuck, dealing with administrative SARS issues, and troubleshooting system queries).
Ideally, you are a Tax Practitioner who wants to move out of a traditional firm and into a tech-focused business looking to shape the future of tax. You don't mind getting your hands dirty with admin, you have patience for users who aren't tax-savvy, and you get satisfaction from resolving a query and turning a confused user into a happy one.
