The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Tax Manager to join a large, nationally recognised organisation within the logistics sector.
This is a newly created position, offering the rare opportunity to design and build the in-house tax function from the ground up. You will play a pivotal role in establishing processes, systems, and reporting frameworks, with strong visibility to senior leadership and direct impact on the broader finance strategy.
Overseeing Australian corporate tax compliance and reporting
Managing GST, payroll tax and other indirect taxes
Designing and implementing tax processes and internal controls
Building reporting frameworks and improving systems
Partnering with key stakeholders across the business
Supporting strategic projects and growth initiatives
Laying the foundations to scale and grow the tax function
