Tax Manager

Introduction

Our client is seeking a Tax Manager to join their accounting and audit firm in Pretoria. This office-based role involves overseeing tax compliance, advisory, and planning services for corporate, trust, and individual clients. The successful candidate will manage SARS submissions, optimize tax strategies, and ensure timely and accurate delivery of tax obligations for approximately 300 clients.

Requirements include (but are not limited to):

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Taxation, or related field
• Professional tax qualification or in-progress (e.g., HDip Tax) desirable
• Registered tax practitioner
• 3–5 years' hands-on tax experience, including engagements with SARS
• Comprehensive knowledge of South African tax legislation (Income Tax, VAT, PAYE)
• Experience with tax compliance, advisory, and planning for companies, trusts, and individuals
