Job Description
The **UMB Registered Fund team** , which manages the daily accounting, tax, audit, administration, and operational tasks for mutual fund and collective trust clients.
As the **Tax-Retirement Analyst III** , you will assist in training and act as mentor for associates in Tax and Retirement Analyst I and II positions. You will review the work of Tax and Retirement Analyst I associates for accuracy and completeness while providing constructive feedback and represent the Tax Department within the transfer agency on conversions, fund startups and regulatory projects.
**How you will spend your time:**
+ Monitor and resolve exception items to ensure resolution within acceptable time frames
+ Document/review workflow and procedures
+ Manage and resolve year-end tax reporting deadlines, including the preparation of forms 1042/945 for fund clients, and shareholder 1099 and 1042 S preparation/filings
