As our highly valued Tax Specialist based in Brisbane, your role will be responsible for providing technical tax advice and operational tax support across the bank, ensuring compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations. The role supports business-as-usual activities, strategic initiatives, and regulatory reporting, while managing tax risks and supporting effective stakeholder engagement.
The Tax Specialist role sits within the CFO Division – Finance Team. The Finance Team is responsible for delivering financial reporting, tax, operational accounting, treasury back office and middle office and systems accounting functions for the Great Southern Bank group. The team is accountable for ensuring the delivery, optimisation and continuous improvement of the finance function.
