Overview
The Tax Specialist plays an active role in the delivery of tax planning engagements, meeting expectations for budget, timeframe and quality.
What you will be doing
Performing technical research and prepare tax correspondence and memos for estate planning and corporate reorganizations
Completing complex tax planning calculations for corporate reorganizations and divestitures
Completing complex tax compliance
Providing support for team members on tax related matters for all clients
On an ongoing basis, identify opportunities for additionalservices with existing clients and proactively move the opportunity forward within the firm as required
What you must have
Undergraduate University degree
CPA designation (preferred)
Enrolled in the CPA Canada In-depth Tax Course would be an asset but not required
