Taxation Compliance & Governance Lead

LO-GO Appointments (QLD) is currently assisting Noosa Council with the recruitment of an experienced Taxation Compliance & Governance Lead for a 12-month engagement.

This specialist project role will lead a range of taxation compliance, governance and risk management initiatives, supporting the organisation to strengthen compliance frameworks, improve processes and ensure ongoing legislative obligations are met.
  
Key responsibilities:

• Lead taxation compliance reviews across a range of payroll, employment and contractor arrangements.
• Assess and identify taxation and regulatory risks, recommending practical remediation strategies.
• Review and enhance governance frameworks, policies, procedures and internal controls.
• Provide specialist advice relating to FBT, GST, Superannuation Guarantee and contractor engagement obligations.
